Outdoor Dining Table In Casa 7A By Natalia Heredia Estudio

Arquitectura en Estudio and Natalia Heredia are successful to answer the challenge in designing Casa 7A. On the 550m2 space, they are demanded to create a closed and private space which can connects the people inside with the beauty of the surroundings—the hill and mountain scenery.

Closed but Open

Casa 7A is designed to answer the demand of private building which can be completely closed when it is not used. From the main road, it looks like a building with a long wall. There is no window or open space can be seen from the front part, other than the small wooden “box” functions as the entrance door from the parking area. The open space of this house can be obtained from the back side of the side which is facing the mountain hills. The border between what is inside with the environment is created close to borderless by having some patios inside.

Looking What is Inside

Casa 7A welcomes the guess by wooden hallway that passed through the first patio. It is facing another patio with Acacia, which become the border between the living room and the dining room. Both of them are open space with limited pillars and wall.

Three bedrooms are located in the left side of the house. From the living room, they are connected by a long hallway with another large patio in the left side of the hallway. The master bedroom of Casa 7A is in the end of the hallway. Its location in the corner of the building allows the people inside can enjoy two open side of the room, without being disturbed by the activities in the social area of the house.
